Our table lamp bases often start as “found objects”, such as flea market finds and vases, and then our imagination lets loose as we paint,  metal leaf, or otherwise embellish on the original material. The shades are fabricated in a variety of media, including cut paper, vintage fabrics, leather, and miscellaneous collage materials such as skeleton leaves and seed pods. Some are embellished with notions, trims, and/or finials, with styles ranging from ethnic and earthy to sleek and sophisticated. Each Bloomin’ Lumen piece is distinctive and one-of-a-kind.
